Whole Life Insurance
Whole Life Insurance is a cash value life insurance policy where the invested cash portion of the policy earns dividends based on the investments of the company as a whole. Whole Life policies offer fixed premiums either in perpetuity or over a period of time. The best whole life policies offer a minimum guaranteed dividend so that the cash values accumulate over time with the only risk being inflation (the guaranteed minimum may not be enough to keep up with rising inflation costs).
Many investors like the slow and steady growth of a whole life policy, finding comfort in the guarantees over earning potential in other cash value products.
